"Go to" & Shortcut Files

I find really useful the context menu "Go to" for Category items. My wish is to have the same feature for the "shortcut files" as well. It will be a great help for file management.

Great! Thanks, Don.

And, I found that the left D&D of a file into a blank space in the list window evokes Ctrl-S behaviour. I like that side effect (I suppose so) as well.

Oops! Standard? I was a bit scared :) You should be right, I suppose. But anyway, The situation is as I described... After choosing small icon option in WE, I can see its button size is also a bit larger than that of XY. All in all, you gave me the smallest buttons of all tools I have in my ...

Yes, probably its size cause no problem to our eyes. But I noticed that XY's size of button is about 70 % of that of most softwares. So, usually I don't feel so comfortable when hovering over the buttons in XY. Anyway, this is just a wish, not so critical to me. But when it comes to the issue of the...

Toolbar for applications

To my knowledge, category is a kind of container of pointers to any kind of objects: folders, files, and execution files. Being user-friendly unlike other competitors, the category in XY is really attractive. The only problem with category is the limited vertical space for it although we can scroll ...

Exactly the same behavior for my XY as well. :(
I just thought that it might be due to "Korean" Windows environment. Now, I suspect that it may not be the case.

My suggestin

What about applying "tab" interface to category display as well. Each category title has its own tab header and when the set of tab headers grows then it flows down to the next line. I think it would be nice if we have such a different way to access categories in addition to the current wa...

zip support? That's not the issue here! The problem is XY does not support a feature with regard to D&D. Although not natural at all, if you D&D a pdf file onto Acrobat.exe then what will be the result? The pdf file opens! That's what happens in Windows explorer and some other explorers, but...

A drag-and-drop feature

I've just found that a trivial-looking feature is missing in XY. In Windows Explorer, we can drag and drop a file A onto a zip file B, which is not allowed in XY.

Thanks for your correction for my poor English. What I meant was not "rarely" but "exceptionally". Frankly speaking, it was a direct translation of a Korean adverb. In Korean, it's perfect, but does mean the opposite in English! :? So what I really meant was that very rare...

A suggestion for the blurb

My suggestion for the marketing blurb: If you're critical about "how" rather than "what", then XYplorer is for you. I think that a good software helps its users do something in smart ways (e.g., quickly and easily and with fun). But, unfortunately, most softwares just focus on th...

Yes, my guess was right. It's the Korean version of Windows that causes the problem. Exchanging messages and describing the problem, I've come to be sure that it may work correctly in English version of the Windows, as said by j_c_hallgren. So, my suspicion went to the language of the Windows... In ...

Many thanks for your kind welcome and reply. > First: Which vers of XY? It's "5.5o.0020", which is the latest beta version, as far as I know. > Second: You're referring to clicking on a ".lnk" file, right? Yes, you're right! > Third: I'm on latest beta and I've just tried a numbe...
