Re: More Customized Context Menu-Don't Expand Items
highend, you seem to have an unpleasant attitude and not being objective or productive. If you don't think this is a useful wish, than you can pass (remember: if you don't have anything good to say or contribute...). You are not being helpful at all trying to 'be right' and defending your point that...

Re: More Customized Context Menu-Don't Expand Items
LittleBig, Thank you. This is VERY useful/helpful. I didn't know about that. I like middle mouse (hand still on mouse), and I can put multiple items in the popup menu. A quick/fast custom menu (most used items), and the middle click is not being used on files right now. Regmos, that too is pretty ne...

Re: More Customized Context Menu-Don't Expand Items
one handed? i think we are talking about different thing. you can hit ctrl+p with one hand. they have a ctrl on the right of spacebar. but i use dvorak keyboard anyway. one handed i mean one hand on the mouse. That's it. no left hand. what is easiest/fastest. the whole point was to remove the expand...

Re: More Customized Context Menu-Don't Expand Items
Thanks for your help trying to create a workaround that will provide such ability currently. But neither of these are more helpful or useful. They do not solve what i was looking for or make it faster/easier than what is currently built in. I might as well just use the shortcut (ctrl+p) or mouse>>ex...

Re: More Customized Context Menu-Don't Expand Items
sorry, i mis-read your previous post and thought you meant custom buttons. UDCs don't solve the issue, and actually create he same problem. As far as I know, UDC's can only be created/tied to a category. Which means, they will have to be set to a sub menu, and not the 1st context menu that pops up. ...

Re: Position of 64-bit Context Menu
On a related note, another feature/wish to make the Context Menu even more powerful (at least for me): A setting/config to allow the menu to shift to a specific list item (default) or most used or last used. This allows less mouse travel. Meaning: Currently the menu opens either below the cursor/foc...

Re: File Expanded Context Menu Item in Main Context Menu
I know it is not possible now, that is why I posted in the 'Wishes' section. For the workarounds they are not helpful: 1-short is even more painful. It requires 2 hands, or letting go of the mouse. Both to efficient. 2-Custom button means selecting the file, moving to click button. If you have file ...

Re: Copy File Path
I'm not asking for the option/functionality (I know it exists), but how to access it. I'm looking for a way to put it (or any option that is in the sub menu, which requires expanding) in the main menu. Meaning, i don't have to expand out the 'To Clipboard'. It can be set in the first menu. So all I ...

More Customized Context Menu-Don't Expand Items
After Right Click file, I see the "To Clipboard" and then expand menu has the option/functionality that I want. Is there a way to get one of those expanded options to the main context menu? This way for a frequently used option, I don't have to expand and select every time. Ultimately it w...

Is there a way to delete the Topic? This is not needed and not a wish. It can help clean up the forum.

I don't know why I didn't see that before.
Thank you for pointing it out.

Address Bar: Files
One of the features of WinExplorer I use is selecting a file right from the address bar. Basically, in WE it does not have the last backslash \. then if i put that in, it shows a list of files. I can scroll down and select the file, and as I do, it puts this in the address bar. This allows me to cop...

Re: Tortoise Icon Overly - Auto Refresh FREEZE
Thanks for following up. Sorry, for the delay-I was testing .0123 for a little while because I actually couldn't believe it :) YOU DID IT! The changes you made to .0123 solved the issue. I have been using it for a few days now (with refresh and icons), and no sign of the lag. If it happens again in ...

Re: Tortoise Icon Overly - Auto Refresh FREEZE
I don't know what would be. I don't have much other things with overlays (such as dropbox). I do have a lot of files-system is 3 TB (2 drives, 1TB for c and 2TB for d). Is it possible refresh is taking that long? The system is fast, amd x4. The drives are WD black edition. The ram is 16GB. Did you t...

Hi,
Well, i tried the 10.60.0121 and it still locks-up.
xy and tortoise are such good and needed tools. Not being able to use them both together is a crime against development
