File size in bits

Post by admin »

A customer wants to optionally show the file sizes in bits. Hmmm, I'm wondering what could be the use of this?? It's bytes times 8. What is won by having an extra option for this??

 Huh? I can't think of any good reason for this...maybe get customer to better explain what they are thinking and usage they think it will be for?
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Maybe he want's to transfer files, and knows the speed of his connection in bit/sec?
For this there should be an option in XY to specify the speed of the medium - so XY can show the expected time
Sorry - just kidding :D
