Hello,

years ago I installed XYplorer free. Shortly later I updated to XYplorer. Everything worked as expected.

Now I updated from 27.x to XYplorer 28.20.0300 64 bit. After first start, 28.20.0300 64 bit asked me if I wanted to keep my configuration. I said yes. But 28.20.0300 64 bit did not see that my configuration was still in C:\Users\..\AppData\Roaming\XYplorerfree. So it did not copy the files (I did that manually after I found the cause).

Thank you for your attention
Andrea

This dialog (which clearly does not claim to copy data from XYplorerFree) only appears if C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\XYplorer exists. So there is no bug, the problem is rather your C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\XYplorer folder and what's in it.

So the cause began when I switched from XYplorer free to the paid version. The paid version probably created ...\Roaming\XYplorer but still used ..\Roaming\XYplorerFree. The INI file in ..\Roaming\XYplorerFree was updated yesterday, altough I did not use XYplorer free for years.

Thank you
