The Issue:
For a significant number of files in my database (especially those that have been downloaded, extracted, or bulk-copied over time), XYplorer displays the exact same timestamp for both the "Created" and "Modified" columns in the list view.
The Benchmark:
When I view the exact same directory and files in Directory Opus, it accurately separates the two. DOpus correctly reflects the true, original file Creation Date (which is often years older than the Modified Date). XYplorer seems to either mirror the Modified date into the Created column or lose the original creation timestamp entirely.
My Questions:
Is XYplorer relying on a different Windows Shell property for the "Created" column that causes it to inherit the "Modified" date during file operations?
Does DOpus parse deeper metadata (like Content Created for PDFs/Office files) by default?
Is there an advanced tweak or setting in XYplorer I can enable to force it to read the true file system creation date so I don't have to switch to DOpus just to sort my archives chronologically?
Thanks for looking into this!

How about providing two screenshots (of each of the full application window) that show the exact same location from XY and DO?
