Poor performance over VPN

Hello everyone

Windows 11
XY-Plorer: 27.20.0100

We use XY-Plorer in the office and from our home office over VPN for the same tasks. Performance over VPN is often very poor; opening folders takes several seconds, and copying files sometimes takes over a minute, even though the files are often only 3 MB in size.
In my opinion, it can't be our VPN, because Windows Explorer performs all these tasks extremely quickly, almost as fast as when we are directly in the office.
Are there any settings that can be adjusted to improve the performance of XY-Plorer?

Try if checking this makes it any faster:
Configuration | General | Refresh, Icons, History | Icons | Use generic icons for super-fast browsing
