where are links stored.

Is there a way to copy every setting from one computer and transfer to another? The settings file alone doens't do the trick.

Copy the XY data folder...

I see the links for the links folder in the tree i see is stored in the xyplorer.ini file.

where are the scripts for >user >manage commands stored so I can copy that too?

When I copy those files, nothing shows up in my manage commands dialog box. What am I missing?

Did you follow my instructions in the linked post about restarting without saving settings if you were using XY at the time when you copied the udc file over?

Woah is me. You'd think I could remember my own posts. Sorry for the extra pings and missing the link you gave me above. I'll go revisit all that.

I'm not clear why, but I am taking all the files from user folder(C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\XYplorer) and copying them to my other computer.

I've tried to exit without saving, and simply copying in windows explorer without xyplorer running. Neither has worked on this occasion.

Any further suggestion. Did I miss something else?

Since you seem to have so much trouble just copying the entire <xydata> folder between computers, you should try use the inbuilt cmds,

File | Settings Special | Backup Application Data Folder...
File | Settings Special | Restore Application Data Folder...

Thanks @jupe. I hadn't seen those settings there either.

I tried that...and my links folder is not updated. Other settings came over without issue.

Those are part of Windows OS, so they are in this folder

%userprofile%\Links
