This one might be difficult to implement and I won't be sad if my wish gets rejected.
When labelled (tagged?) files/folders get renamed or moved by another program (e.g. Windows Explorer or Flexible Renamer), they lose their label. Could XYplorer monitor file system changes to labelled files/folders and modify their database entry (tag.dat?) accordingly? Or would that be an insane thing to do, keeping RAM and/or CPU usage in mind?
Keep labels when files/folders were moved or renamed externally

If i remember correctly there was some scripting approach to try save tags into NTFS-*something*, but it's just a hint and i don't remember the actual details(try searching Scripts branch).

Oh, NTFS Alternate Data Stream sounds like a good idea. I'll look into it, thanks!
