Auto-update category option in catalog

I want to make a vertical tabs workflow in XYplorer, currently, catalog feature is nice, but when displaying tabs - I must manually RMB to "update category" when the state of the tabs changes.
Can you implement such functionality to better support vertical tabs?

I think I meant to use the Catalog instead of tabs, not to use the Catalog as a vertical interface to the current tabs.

IMO your wish is too exotic.
