Using Firefox 125.0.2 on a Win10 PC.
Might be a bug with the forum software. Or might be a bug with me.
I have just noticed a hamburger menu icon located at the upper right of the forum window. To the left of "Private messages." Clicking it opens a scroll bar and nothing else. I can't recall seeing this before. I tired both Chrome and Edge and see the same behavior.

Same FF on Win 11 shows no problem.

I had previously closed and restarted Firefox with no change in behavior. I just relaunched it after being closed for more than an hour and the hamburger icon is gone and "Notifications" appears in its place. Rather odd, I'd say, but it doesn't cause a problem with XY, so I'm not going to worry about it any longer.
