I've tried searching but have not found the answer to this question:
When in the middle of a details list view, upon returning from a subfolder (either via back mouse button, or "up"), the selected list view item is always scrolled to the top.
I've tried disabling "Configuration | General | Tree and List | Tree | Scroll selected folder to the top" but that does not appear to affect the list.
Example, if I have a list view with items:
folder 1
folder 2
folder 3
folder 4
folder 5
If "folder 3" is selected, and I navigate into that folder, upon return to the parent folder, "folder 3" is now scrolled to the top (in position 1).
I want the list view to remain exactly where I was, such that when I return, folder 3 is selected but NOT scrolled to the top of the list.
Is this possible, and if so, how to configure this?

Re: Do NOT scroll list to top
More detail:
"Select last used subfolder" seems to be related here. With that option checked, I get the above described behavior. With that option unchecked, returning to the parent folder scrolls to the top of the list.
I don't want either of those behaviors, ideally I would like to have the list remember exactly the scrolled AND selected position, but so far I can't figure out how to do this (if even possible).

Isn't that the default behavior? Try a fresh instance.

Re: Do NOT scroll list to top
I just found that the "back" button does what I want, but not the back mouse button or the "Up" action. Now I just need to figure out how to remap the back mouse button the action that is the Back toolbar button.
