Parent Folder view starting at beginning instead of staying with highlighted folder

Not sure if this was something phased out or if I fat fingered some setting by mistake but I'm pretty sure I use to be able to open a folder, back out of the folder and the folder would still be highlighted/ selected.

Now when I back out of a folder it takes me to the beginning of the parent folder.

For example if I'm in Parent folder "Alphabet" with folders A - Z. Then I click and open the folder "Z" and then backed out of the folder, in the past, once returning to the Parent Alphabet folder I would still see a highlighted Z folder... but now it takes me to the beginning of the parent folder list.

Is this a setting in the Configuration I can use to get that function back?
