Favorites pane (screen area) disappeared

Happily using XY for years. Always had an area in the left column, under the tree, where favorites show -- but now it's gone and I can't find a way to get it back. (It was area that you drag anything to/from, to add/remove a favorite.)

What am I missing?

Yes, that's it. Thank you! I need to learn to stop calling it a pane or area and start calling it the catalog.

By the way, can one have multiple catalogs showing at the same time?

Right click on free space / caption in the catalog, Include
