Rename behaviour changed?

One XY feature I (used to) like was the ability of a file being renamed (F2) to stay in the rename state while I went to another app. I often create a single filename from a few different fields in Opera, so I'm Alt-Tabbing a few times between Opera and XY to copy and paste. I then used to exit rename mode by clicking away from the file in XY.

Recently grabbed a new beta, moving up from 7.10.0011. Now when XY loses focus, rename mode is auto exited.
No biggy - just wondered if this was an intentional change, presumably related to the UNICODE implementation (?).

Good guess! Yes, it was a side effect of the new implementation.
