Double-click on TTF Doesn't Show Preview

hi! if i double-click a TTF file in XY, nothing is displayed (not the normal font preview window). if i right-click on the file and choose Preview it works. Double-clicking it in File Explorer displays the Preview just fine.

this is my context menu setting :
Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | [ ] Show the 64-bit context menu

this setting is normally unchecked for my setup, checking it didn't make a difference :
Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Use 64-bit preview handlers for preview

i can use the right-click Preview if needed, but shouldn't the double-click work the same ? am i missing some other setting for TTFs ?

Works fine here (Win8.1). I'll soon be on Win11 and check again...
