Removing "New Text File" Item From Context Menu
Hello. I am customizing the XYplorer app. I want to remove the "New Text File" item that I don't use in the right-click menu. How can I do that?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thank you for your reply.
Is it possible to add such a feature in the future?

For the others these commands seem to be okay.

When I'm not using my car, I always park it in the garage.

I use my own car throughout the year. Sometimes I prefer the bus.
Similarly in XYplorer that shortcut may be needed sometimes; but I usually choose to use it from the menu.

I was speaking metaphorically. Which items of that menu do you use? Because there are ways to build your own menu (via Custom Event Actions).

Re: Removing "New Text File" Item From Context Menu
I get it; I use almost all except "new text file".
I don't need many commands in my menu.
Only basic commands/items.
(So my car fits in the garage.

I didn't see that the script operations were this detailed.
XYplorer is really detailed and excellent software.
I've looked through the forum and Help File.
I couldn't find an example the way I wanted.
Can you share a simple context menu script file/code please?

Re: Removing "New Text File" Item From Context Menu
Sorry to necro this thread but I agree with the poster though for a different reason. Ctrl-Shift-N in the standard Windows file explorer creates a new directory. As a Windows user of over 30 years and someone that is primarily a keyboard user, I've built up some muscle memory for this command. XY is great and its customizability is amazing but it's a bit surprising that the keyboard shortcut options don't extend to the context menu.

?
Assign Ctrl+Shift+N for the new folder command and when you invoke the right-click context menu guess what is displayed as the keyboard shortcut for that menu entry?

Thanks! I missed that in the shortcuts since it wasn't clear that there were other categories.
