copy files and directories preserving time attributes

Sometimes one needes to copy or move some files and directories to another location perservng all their time attributes (not only modificiation time, but creating and last accessed time as well).
What do you think about such new option in Tracker as
"Preserv the following attributes when copying:
Folders: modified created accessed
Files: modified created accessed"

Hmm. To preserve created and accessed time would be a manipulation of reality which can lead to confusion. I think I'm not bored enough to need this kind of stimulation. Maybe in winter...
