Is there a plan to develop a "dual directory tree"?

Post by andeaker »

As computer screens get larger, I find that switching directories with a single directory tree is a bit time-consuming (laughs). Is there a plan to develop a "dual directory tree" in the near future?

I'm not aware of such a plan.

I use XY and Total Commander (TC).
TC offers dual trees, but I never ever use it.
I even use trees in XY and TC very seldom.
Everything or Listary navigation is much faster than scrolling in trees.

Everything 1.5.0.1412b (x64), Everything Toolbar 2.3.0, Listary Pro 6.3.6.99

Maybe it's because the requirements of my personal work environment are different — I often need to switch between many directories. With a dual directory tree, I don't need to "click one more time." That's just it.

Let’s say you have the tree on the right side and have selected the orthodox file view… if you’re on the tree with the mouse and switch to the other pane using the Tab key, the tree should automatically update accordingly.
