It looks like it is in touchscreen mode.

Of course!
But something is wrong with the line heights. Is it a bug or a user decision?

Re: Glitched UI that leads to crash
This is what "fresh;" invokes, and indeed it looks much worse to me. What can i say? It is a matter of taste.
My XYplorer is in touch-screen mode to make UI icons bigger, thus aiming easier. This is a file-manager, not a shooter game. But especially for the Tree i would opt for small icons if i could keep the big ones on the List and Catalog. However, i've found no such options in the config or .ini, and touch-screen mode makes no distinction.
As for the List row heights, they are set to 0px by ctrl-shift-scrolling on the List Window. I used to have it at -4px but it was causing some overlapping with certain icons. The Tree row heights are at -12px and the Catalog row heights at 0px.
My reason for having the Tree height at -12px is to allow room for more lines to be displayed there, which i find more useful than mere blank space between the lines.
If that somehow makes it look "terrible" according to certain aesthetical tastes, then so be it. Function over form, as i always say.
But to me, it looks gorgeous!
