1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

version 28.30.0100.
Windows 11

Problems: Folders that have folders inside them do not display their thumbnails.

Works fine here. Try to refresh the cache.

I've cleared all the cache.
This only happens in the GoogleDrive folder.
The other folders appear normal.
What's confusing me is that when I check "Start a fresh instance," the GoogleDrive folder appears normal.

:? I don't get it. What has "Show icon overlays" to do with non-showing folder thumbnails?

I only had a theory, not sure if it is correct but fwiw, as you can see from the screenshots, it wasn't the thumbnails missing, it was just the large folder icons, and I don't use Google Drive, but I assume they have overlays to indicate sync status.
The OP helpfully didn't mention their dpi so I guessed maybe it is high and the icons are showing massive and we are only seeing like the top right pixels which are transparent, or maybe the overlay is blocking the icon being displayed completely, or similar, and I am not sure if it was related but you had just made changes to the shared overlay at high dpi.

Good chain of intuition. I still think there shouldn't be a connection but I cannot prove it. OP said "Folders that have folders inside them do not display their thumbnails" which makes it even more strange. But since your idea seems to have solved it, congratulations! :appl:
