Sometimes when you drag a window to another screen, it may become unresponsive.

I have multiple monitors on my computer, and sometimes I drag XYplorer to a different screen. Occasionally, it becomes unresponsive, but after waiting a few seconds, it returns to normal. However, this happens from time to time when I drag it. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? I’d appreciate any help. Version: 27.20.1000

Your question is very precise. Let me describe my screens for you. The screen arrangement is [4] [3] [2] [1]. [1] is my laptop screen, but I have set it to be disconnected, so screen 1 is not active. Screens 4, 3, and 2 are all the same model, with a resolution of 3440*1440 and 100% scaling. This issue is quite strange—it occurs quite frequently during work, but when I try to deliberately reproduce it, it's very hard to replicate...

If all monitors have the same scaling percentage, then only the new monitor's taskbar is updated. So the hang must be somewhere in that code.

1) What's your Windows version?

2) Do you use PowerToys Fancy Zones?

I just tried a few times, but couldn't reproduce the issue. It's really strange — it seems to happen when you're seriously working, and the unresponsiveness might last a few seconds before returning to normal...

I just noticed another thing: when I drag XYplorer from one screen to another, the window flashes briefly, almost like a flickering animation. I tried dragging a browser window, and there was no extra effect — it just moved smoothly. I wonder if this is related to that "flash" effect, and if it's possible to turn it off?

The only way I have found to update the taskbar is to hide and reshow the window. But that was about 10 years ago. There must be something better now... I'll go hunting.

Still did not find anything useful, but the next beta (upload in some minutes) makes it optional (default = off), so the problem should be gone.

Thank you so much for your support. I just downloaded the beta version 27.20.1006, and now dragging from one screen to another no longer causes flickering.
