Question with Visual Filters

The help file says
!\|*.txt -> show only *.txt files and hide all folders

but when I try it, I get folders as well.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there another setting that is forcing the display of folders?

Hi,
nn my side, when I put the !|*.txt string in the filter bar, then this will work — accordingly, you can tick the button called: Type Stats and Filter.
