When I am connecting an external hard disk or a mobile through USB, It does not show in the left panel below this PC. but I can see the external storage connected in the Windows File Explorer. version 26.30.0100
Do I have to do a special settings to see external connected hard disks (f drive in this case)?

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Are you maybe using the Mini Tree? It does not auto-add nodes, but only features the nodes you have actually visited.

Re: How to show external hard drivein the left side.?
Thank you so much for all your help.
now it is showing external hard disk.
Now I'm enjoying this explorer so far, except a few missing features/bugs.(File selection. app pinning, no rename in context menu, check box disappearing etc)
This explorer is really customizable and I hope that missing features and bugs will be fixed in the upcoming versions.

File selection is handled in the new beta.
No rename in context menu? Who cares. Just press F2.

Re: How to show external hard drivein the left side.?
EDIT: after posting this, I returned to XY and found the mobile phone in "MyPC"
Apparently, there was a long lag, not nearly instantaneous like an external drive or in Win File Explorer.
Is this a known issue? Is there a work around for the speed?
I can also see my Samsung 24Ultra in Win-11 File Explorer but NOT in XY.
Why is that?
And is there any way to see folder size or number of items in a folder on the phone? or is that beyond XY's reach?

If the phone is in "MyPC" then it should be in the tree as well. Unless you removed it from a Mini Tree.

Re: How to show external hard drivein the left side.?
No. It takes a long time to appear anywhere. But when it appears in the tree it appears in my PC and vice versa. I'm just observing that it takes a very long time

There is no reason why this should be slower in XY than in FE.
Did you already test it in a fresh instance?
