OT: need simple audio CD ripper
Currently using dBpowerAMP release 9a (from 2003) -- it's good, but is there something better?

Maybe:
http://www.bonkenc.org/ or http://www.benware.de/index.php?site=pr ... ge=english
Not sure if they are better, i listed them because they are portable.

I'd recommend "ExactAudioCopy", it's name pretty much tells you what you get. I probably wouldn't call it 'simple' though
Might wanna check it out nevertheless: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de

I agree with Creat. Beware of not setting a maximum timeout period if you are trying to get the highest quality rips. If the disc is scratched or smudged the process can take some serious time!Creat wrote:I'd recommend "ExactAudioCopy", it's name pretty much tells you what you get.
