One of the things that has always frustrated me with Explorer is it's (lack of) selection facilities. Mainly, you can't select files in the current folder using some sort of wildcard or regex filter. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to do this simple thing and had to open up a stupid search window to do it. Is it just me or is this one of those ultra-obvious features that is glaringly missing from most file browsers?
BTW, any word on the request to (at least have an option to) open up a new tab for your search results?
P.S. I don't say it enough, but I really dig tracker. Just hoping my requests make better than the competition.

Re: Selecting by wildcard
It's on the to-do list (http://www.trackerv3.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=296), but given the recent post in the Bug Reports forum it may be a while before it's implemented.diarrhio wrote:One of the things that has always frustrated me with Explorer is it's (lack of) selection facilities. Ok, that was planned anyway. Comes with the next version.Leopoldus wrote:Thanks! But the next logical step forward is to add regular expressions capability to this option.
It would be nice then if you could add some regular expressions capability to the forum (Tips and Tricks), some useful examples for selecting files using RegExp.
