A trivial thing:
I used to create several text files in one go by simply holding ctrl+shift and hitting n several times. But I dont know since when, but now its not possible. I get one text file and to create another I have to escape rename mode first. Similar situation while creating many folders.
I know this is situation is opposite to the bug reported by Orson.
I think user should be able to create files or folders without having to always escape rename mode.
Anyway, as a workaround i am using "#234;focus" script to create text files.

Re: creating many files
Yes, I noted that too. It is a side effect of the new edit box. CKSs will not work when the focus is inside the box.
It was a bit strange anyway that you could create a new file while renaming another one.
A solution would be to add a command (or setting or some way) to create new items without entering rename mode.
