Windows 11 pinned taskbar icon is tiny

For clarity, this issue is exclusive to the xyplorer icon and I dont have this issue with other pinned apps.

I run Windows 11 on a 4k monitor and have scaling at 250%, This forces the pinned taskbar icon to be tiny even though the notification icon and start menu icon are fine.

If i reduce the scaling to 200% then it looks fine. If i try 225% then the icon is small again.

The reason I have the scaling so high is because I am using the computer on a TV and sitting a few meters away from the screen, so reducing the scaling to accomodate the icon isn't really an option.

Presumably because it is the only application that is doing it. I have updated my original post to make it clear this is only happening with xyplorer.

Cannot reproduce, but anyway: it will surely go away with the upcoming 64-bit version.

Just fyi, here is the fault duplicated on a fresh install of W11. 225% scaling at 4k resolution. Different pc and monitor.

I have tested another 32bit application and its icon is also small...so hopefully this is just an issue that will disappear like you said.

Wow. Looks like a problem that should have affected a lot of users. I wonder why you are the only one reporting it.

I think 225% scaling is quite extreme and not normal for desktop use.

I use a small mini pc on my 65" TV and sit several meters back so I tend to set the scaling to over 200%. However, for the moment i have reduced to 200% and just zoomed in with the mouse wheel for the browser and other apps that support zoom.
