Is it possible that XYplorer pre-loads the contents so when you search a file, the search result is visible immediately? Like Google desktop, Windows Vista, Copernicus etc.

I'd say definitely not, as those products are mostly in a totally different product type/group, and are not file managers but are desktop search engines.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

No, the non-index search is a trademark of XY ever since and will stay like that. However, in a future edition you will be able to cache search results!vdongen wrote:Is it possible that XYplorer pre-loads the contents so when you search a file, the search result is visible immediately?
