Edit -> New Item is gray. How to add a new item? I have the functionality in the Help section.

Have you thoroughly read and understood this page of the wiki?
http://88.191.26.34/XYwiki/index.php/New_Items

If menu is gray, then you've not yet properly set up the NewItems folder, as I recall it.

Its not that logic for a beginner to know about the Wiki page.

A beginner initially should be able to get sufficient help from the Help section. I have read the text there 5 times, but I didn't come further, this specific section lacks assistance, at least for me.

Although the wiki page is a great source, once I know it exist. Thanks to the author.
