Make pressed buttons more visible

Post by Marc »

Hi,

Is it possible to make the status of pressed buttons more visible (more lighter or more darker color and/or red frame, for example) ?

(Option button push effect doesn't have enough effect either. Unless we can change the color, which I haven't found.)

Thanks
;)

Currently it's not possible. What do others think?

It is slightly better with dark skin that I use, but I also think it needs some more accent..

In my stuff, I use a color gradient to give a 2.5d (?) style..

Color gradients are so not en vogue.

Agreed. The background will be slightly brighter in the next beta in light mode.

I'm going with the classical beauty, not the passing fads (like flat everything win8 metro nightmares)... :) :titter: :kidding: ;)

Not like a big problem for me, but sometimes i was thinking same: it could be better if pressed state looked "more pressed".(either by more intense colour change or indeed button border colour change)

Done in v26.80.0403 - 2025-02-05 14:57

PS: I'm softening to the idea to go even a little further. Next beta.

 A simple, easy-to-see reminder for active filters (use the window title bar)
F3_Title.jpg
Or a red text label "Active(s) Filter(s): ... " at the bottom left of the OK button
or 3 checkboxes.

The toolbar should do. Double info is confusing.
