XYplorer 26.70.0500 & Windows 10 Pro 22H2
Cannot drag files to open XYplorer folder.
Question: Anyone having the same issue and what is the fix?
I tried to move a file to a XYplorer folder which was open.
I cannot and instead see a circle with a slash thru it. I can copy or move a file from inside the folder.
I see the same circle with slash when I drag or hold the right mouse button down and drag. I can copy and paste into the folder. Just not drag a file into it.
This is any folder or file that has this issue.
Windows explorer has no issues.
If I drag the file to the folder icon then it will move or copy to it as normal.

Running XY as Admin? If yes, try as User.

Re: Cannot drag files to open XYplorer folder
Thanks I guess I was. The XYplorer desktop shortcut icon had a shield icon on it.
I right clicked on it and then clicked on Compatibility tab> Change settings for all users button>
The box "Run this program as an administrator" was unchecked. I checked it then clicked on Apply button.
I then unchecked the box then clicked on the Apply button.
Now I can copy or move by dragging the file to an open XYplorer window.
I still have the shield icon on the XYplorer desktop icon. All is working.
