Low Quality PDF Thumbnails even with high quality settings

Post by XY-Newbie »

Hi, so I changed the large thumbnail size to 200x300 and now the quality is really bad. I tried clearing the thumbnail cache by hitting "Clear..." in the Configuration -> Thumbnail section, reloaded all Thumbnails but still bad quality. Is there something I'm overseeing?

And is there a way to customize the Size, so i'm not limited to steps of hundreds?

Thanks. Is there a solution to the low quality problem? I think there might be a hidden thumbnail cache somewhere, as all the thumbnails are loading really quickly, which they didn't do the first time I had to load them all a few days ago. So there might be a cache or a file somewhere, that I'm not clearing.

There are no hidden caches...

Does the cache folder contain any items after using the clear button?

Nope, I even went ahead and cleared all thumbnail caches I could find manually, still the thumbnails loaded super fast which is unusual. and in bad quality

You do know that the folder is in the root of the drive you’re starting XY from?

If that folder is still empty and you tick
Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | [x] Show cached thumbnails only

you still get thumbnails?
