How to turn off content view when hovering over folder/file name

I've been an XYplorer user since 2015. Extremely useful tool. But lately, when I hover my curser over a file or folder name, a popup occurs showing me some of the contents. I'm hovering because I want to hold my place on a folder/file, while I visually search for a different file. The popup covers what I'm trying to do, so I would like to toggle it off normally, toggle on when it's an advantage. It seems this is a new feature of recent weeks ? How can I manage this ?
