Getting rid of old server names

Post by Andrea »

Hello,
XY Zwischenablage_07-24-2024_01.jpg
How can I delete old server names? Some servers don't exist any longer or never existed at all (e.g. "offoce" which is obviously a typo).

Thank you
Andrea

Do they exist in Menu - Tools - List Management - Servers in Network Folder...?

Yet another basic option I have overlooked. In the past I got rid of unwanted servers by disabling the option to "Cache network servers" from the config dialog and then re-enabling it. Thanks highend.

But this "new" method poses a question. In the "Servers in Network Folder" dialog, I can delete unwanted server(s). There is also the option to reorder the sequence of the servers by use of up/down arrows. Yet when I reorder them and close the dialog, they appear alphabetically in the tree. And alphabetically when the dialog is reopened. So if they can not actually be reordered, then I suggest getting rid of the ability to reorder them.

Meaning they can't be reordered? Or that you will make it so they can?

It's been a while since I've looked at the items in List Management, but this issue "I can't actually reorder", applies in some other cases in LM as well.

Can't be reordered.

Let me know if you spot one of them.

I just went through the whole list, and I didn't catch any couldn't be reordered though some of my LM items are empty.
