When searching for files, you can display them by date in the form of a tree.

I'm not going to add it, but you have a lot of ideas. You should really learn to code and make your own file manager. :ugeek:

The idea is not mine, I got it from a file explorer of an image editor. It's really useful this kind of tree, it would be great to clone this feature.

PD: I'm a programmer of algorithmic logic and programming languages, but GUIs beat me.

And a multifunctional file explorer is more than just a graphical user interface. It really has to be a complex source code and a capable mind to develop it.

I was wondering if you have looked at using "PaperFolders". I have thought about it and experimented with the catalog & paperfolders.
Here is a zip with catalog, 2 icons(white background& black background) and the 43 paperfolders.
The idea came from the Lifehacker website and the 43folders website.
