Column order in context menu

Post by highend »

A fresh instance shows a combination of standard and custom columns in a specific order followed by all 16 extra columns (in ascending order) in the context menu when right clicking on the column header e.g. in list view.

How to restore this layout in an upgraded instance where there is a wild mix of standard properties, a few cc's, the first 5 extra columns, again, a few cc's, the next 11 extra columns, ...

Resetting the ccs to factory default via Configuration... doesn't help :blackstorm:

This menu reflects the order of the columns in the current list. You can use View | Columns | Show Columns... to manually drag the columns to new positions.

Or you use the Column Layouts toolbar button and click Default. :)

Thanks!

If I do that the new Status column is at the end of the list while in fresh it gets placed after Attr
I've moved it manually now but this is a minor flaw :)

Can this menu be accessed through standard menu?(like View>Columns>) Recently i was exactly searching how to make specific column layout to take place of default one and didn't succeed.

No, but you can save/load any column set from the main menu.
