hide parents folders in tree

Post by if3ll »

is there a way for me to hide the parent folders in this image (This PC, Gaemr, Users, [pc name]) so that just the folders below (which I manually set) show (Documents, those things under documents, Downloads...)?
Thanks!

No, "This PC" can't be hidden

Configuration | General | Tree and List | Items in Tree and List | Select Items...

Select the things you want to see at the root level here and then collapse the "Gaemr" drive...

Oh, that works pretty well!
one more thing - can I remove the drive folder from the side (Gaemr)?

Sure but you would need to switch to the "Mini tree" to be able to hide folders / drives

FYI, after some compatibility stuff like Native Status Column and Native Scrollbars is done, UFOs (User Folders) will be the next mega feature. It will do what you wish and more.
