Branch view not showing files in sub-folders

Hi everyone,

Branch view is supposed to show files and folders in the current folder, AND files and folders of all sub-folderd. I am experiencing persistent issues with this. None of het sub-items are displayed. I tried changing every single setting that is related to Branch view but cannot get it to work. Until a few months ago it did work properly

Anyone else who recognises this problem? Does anyone know the solution?

It works fine now. You must have applied some filter. Can you show a screenshot of the whole XYplorer window with the branch view?

Looks okay. Are you sure those folders contain any files?

100% sure. You can see here a screenshot of the folder 'Sales engineering'.

Hmm. Right-click the Size column header and select Show Folder Sizes. Does the Size column now show some numbers for those folders?

Interesting case.

1) When you double-click "Externe hulpbronnen", does it open and list the contents (3 empty files)?

2) Same problem with every branch view, or just here?

3) Can you reproduce it with a fresh instance? (When in your folder, type freshhere; into the Address Bar and press Enter. )

Yes it is interesting:-) Thanks for looking into it with me, because the branch view is one of the most powerfull and unique features of XY Plorer.

1) Yes, it contains one empty text file and two empty maps
2) Yes, the same problem for every folder. I could give other screenshot if that helps.
3) In a fresh instance the branch view is fixed and behaves as expected. Does this give you a clou on the source of the problem?

That helped. You have ticked Maximum depth (= 0) on Info Panel | Find Files | Name & Location.

Actually, I think this is a bug. The "Include subfolders" setting has no effect on Branch View (or Quick Search), so "Maximum depth" should have no effect either.
