I have a set spacing which I like between the various columns in my C:\ default screen view, which is saved and consistent across XY instances.
But when I change to another view (eg., C:\Documents within any particular XY instance, the said set spacing between columns will not return when I go back to C:\ The contents of the columns are the same, just not the spacing between them.
I have done all the View-Folder View Settings ... etc things. What am I missing?

Re: Column Spacing
Thanks.
But yes - done that, boxes ticked. And indeed upon closing that Edit Folder View box, the spacing changes from my (preferred) spacing between columns to a narrower one.
As before, nothing else changes, just spacing. I know this is hardly a major issue but interesting and moderately annoying anyway. Oh - and also as before, on restarting XY, my preferred spacing is back.

Re: Column Spacing
That's the only folder that does not behave? It might be a problem of roots. No time now to check...

Re: Column Spacing
The only folder I am a bit fussy about the spacing between columns on is the C:\ folder which is my default view - I have not checked others but they seem OK.
No worries if you can't check now. But interestingly, when I just updated to .0114, after the updating, XY launched back in to my default C:\ folder - with my preferred spacing between columns.

Re: Column Spacing
Tested it now. Nothing wrong with C:\. Everything works fine.
