Hello,
Is there anyone who can write a script to move all and only my .mp4 files (in movie folders together with artwork) from my NAS to another Location keeping the folder structure intact. I'm not very educated in writing scripts, using them is no problem. Thanks in advance
Greetings
Bart

Re: batch moving (only) mp4 files to other location keeping folder structure
Hi bartpet,
do you want to run this script on a regular basis or "just" once, twice?
Did you consider using an archive tool to do this, like 7-zip for example? On the command line, these tools should be able to create an archive file, only containing files with a special extension. This archive has to be transferred / extracted to the other device then.
Not a one-click solution, though. Didn't test it, just an idea..
Best regards, Markus

No script needed. Check out "Rich Move" in the help.
