NON F3 search box on right side of screen is gone

NON F3 search box on right side of screen is gone
I have the info in my notes ....somewhere..

How do I get it back? (Without doing a go back in Win 10)

This all came about with the latest ver 24.90
On move I also need to do a manual Refresh now - after a search/move combination.

Maybe the live filter box? Is its entry ticked in Menu - Window?

The quick filter - the only search box that is open all the time. call it filter or whatever - I need it back.

Are you referring to this? If so, it's called the Live Filter and It's been on the left side of the status bar as long as I've been using XY. Perhaps you have disabled "Show Status Bar."

I was in a hurry ...
It is covered under Window - Manipulating the on off items I first got it on the address line and now on the line you described and then promptly lost the address line placements.
Look up FILTER on F1 - it has three pages of info. (perhaps not current)

Looking up "filter" via F1 (Help) shows that it is what is in my screenshot. And it's enabled/disabled via Window > Show Live Filter Box. I see no way to move it to the right of the status bar. Since you don't see it at all, it would appear that you have it disabled. Enable it and see if it appears on the right of the status bar for you. Or perhaps it's on the left, as it is for me.

Just had a look at help:

Show the box to the left of the Status Bar: tick Window | Arrangement | Live Filter Box in Status Bar. Note that if the Address Bar is hidden then the LFB automatically goes to the Status Bar.

Does that look help?

I hope this solves the OP's issue. I unticked "live filter box in status bar" under Window > Arrangement and it went from the left side of the status bar to the right side of the address bar.
