How to create m own Command ID

Post by Lakeshoresurfer »

Hi all. This is my first post, so please go easy on me if this is too easy.

Is there a way to assign my own Command IDs, let's say to a script that I have written and would like to invoke it like ::#xxx whereby xxx would be my own designated ID.

Or are Command IDs exclusive to XYplorer's internal command structure and we as users cannot assign our own like in the example above.

Thanks for any feedback / tips.

Check out User | Run Script. You can add new scripts via User | Manage Commands...

Thank you Don.

I noticed that the system starts assigned Command IDs starting wit #1401 and incrementing automatically when additional scripts are added.
That works perfectly fine for. Many thanks.

Cheers
