Windows XP style tabs support...

Post by TsunamiZ »

Please add Windows XP style tabs support. This looks better than the current tabs or having users customize their own tab colors. It's also good for users that use various skins for Windows XP. Thanks.

No. C'est la Petite Difference between TrackerV3 and the rest, and I'm proud of it! If you want XP style tabs take any one of the other thousand file managers

Well, other file managers give users a choice between 'flat' tabs or 'XP' tabs. This type of aesthetic difference can make TrackerV3 look either modern or old school in the screenshots--which affects TrackerV3's appeal to potential users.

That's true, many screenshots are out-of-date. The program evolves too fast... :)

So please consider implementing XP style tabs. This also works better for users who skin their WinXP interface via StyleXP, etc., so they can keep their GUI looking consistent and visually ergonomic. Thanks.

You are absolutely right about the disadvantages of my strategy, but I won't change it (because of all the advantages! :D ).

Sorry to appear to block almost all of your wishes; it's just an unfortunate coincidence.
Wish you wished on,
Don

But like I mentioned before: Keeping the flat appearance will also make TrackerV3 look old-school and not modern. That limits user appeal.

I understand you have a life and don't want to spend more time on TrackerV3 than what fits your needs. But so do I, so I won't waste time trying to convince you to make THE best browser for everyone if you're not that kind of creator.
