With my previous file manager I was able to quickly create a file filter uing drag&drop.
I selected the files I needed and dropped them into a filter box to be included or excluded. It was also possible to save this filter under a certain name.
When I visited a different folder with the active filter, I only saw the files I needed. So it was simply to copy or ZIP those files.
Does XY has a similar easy approach to solve this problem? (Unfortunately the Quickfind or Find tools does not seem to support drag&Drop for file names.)
BTW: CTRL+P is supposed top copy the file name(s) - but it just a single name is copied right now. If it would copy name;name;name this would be useful to paste into the file name search box.

Re: Filter - Filenames/Extensions Drag&Drop
No drag and drop...
You could use Shift+Alt+J or add the "Toggle Visual Filter" button to the toolbar and right click it after selecting your files
