Add folder listing to preview pane

Would be a nice feature to add the selected folder's contents to the preview pane.

If I have a folder that has .txt, .jpg, and folders, when I select the .txt file, it is shown in the preview pane, if I move up or down to the .jpg file, that is previewed, but moving up or down to a folder shows nothing, would be great to have the folder contents previewed too.

just discovered this already exists when previewing a ZIP file that contains subfolders, you can "drill" into them within the preview pane. This would be great for having a folder's contents previewed too

Doable, but it's a lot of work and - worse - would result in an ever-growing mountain of follow-up requests. Since the functionality of looking into and drilling down into a folder already exists since day one (it's a file manager) I won't redo it another time in this place.
