Quick File Preview vs. Preview Pane - why the word wrap is not available for the latter? [Solved]

Post by John_C »

When you open the Quick File Preview window of a text file by pressing Ctrl+Q, there is an option to enable word wrap.

But when you enable the Preview Pane, there is no option to enable word wrap.

I think the option to enable/disable word wrap should be available in both cases.

The reason is consistency. Quick File Preview and Preview Pane are very similar, the only difference is that the pane is pinned on the left/right side, and so it doesn't make sense to me that the word wrap is available for the window, but is not available for the pane.

Ha. The option is somewhat hidden, thanks.

Using Word wrap is confusing as long as the preview doesn't show line numbers.
You can no longer see that some lines are part of the previous one.
