Only Created date is preserved when copying, Modified and Accessed date are set to current date

Post by egs-zs8-1comets »

Tools -> Configuration... -> File Operations -> Custom Copy Operations -> Configure... -> Preserve all item dates (Preserve not only Modified but also Created and Accessed date in the copief of files and folders.)

Would it be possible to expand this option: Preserve all item dates with these possibilities?:
Modified (on/off)
Created (on/off)
Accessed (on/off)

Note: Disable timestamps are always set to the current system time when copying

Something is wrong with the title of this thread because created date is not preserved for me.
So the option "Preserve all item dates" doesn't work as described.
It doesn't save the created date, this is set to the current date/time (Windows default for a copy).
And yes, I have set this option and use the Custom Copy - XYplorer.

Btw. if I switch to the configured External Copy Handler TeraCopy all dates are preserved.

[Edit]
After switching off use Custom Copy and enable it again it works now.

The thread title is already correct. It's a feature suggestion because I just want to preserve only the created date from the source to the destination. The other 2 timestamps I want to set to current time after copying.

For me this option works to preserve created and modified date from source. Only accessed date does not work for me.

Source:
Modified 7/25/2021 8:18:22 AM
Created 7/25/2021 8:17:06 AM
Accessed 7/25/2021 8:18:22 AM

Destination
Modified 7/25/2021 8:18:22 AM
Created 7/25/2021 8:17:06 AM
Accessed 7/25/2021 8:18:39 AM

Sorry I had a problem with my Ini file which didn't have Custom Copy set.
After resolving this Custom Copy works as described for me and preservers all dates.
