Option to open Favorite Folders in a new tab

Please, add an option to open Favorite Folders to a new tab instead of using the current one.

For me holding the Shift key while clicking on a favorite folder entry does open it in a new tab.

I had only tried pressing the wheel, still an option to make it the default would be great.

Yes, I wish to have this option too.
By the way, I also whish to open a new tab if click on the list item of "my computer" on the toolbar.
