You can change size of Icons with Ctrl + Mouse Wheel in Windows Explorer.
(Max Icon size is 256x256 pixels in Windows Explorer)
I attached animation that shows how you can resize Icons in Windows Explorer with Ctrl + Mouse wheel
Icons should be resizable to user's preference.
("Large Icon" size is 36x36 pixels in XYplorer)

They are Thumbnails, not Iconshighend wrote:And they can?Icons should be resizable to user's preference

Large Icons have a different style.
Large Thumbnails have a different style.
Their purposes are different.

Re: Custom sizes for Icons
even judging by animation provided in 1st post icons and thumbnails are similar, changing from icons to thumbs with bigger sizes. looks like the only thing truly wished here is "fancy view-scrolling".

True, the image files in the animation I provided uses thumbnails.eil wrote:even judging by animation provided in 1st post icons and thumbnails are similar, changing from icons to thumbs with bigger sizes. looks like the only thing truly wished here is "fancy view-scrolling".
Here's an example with Custom Folder Icons, these are not thumbnails.
I'm not exactly looking for "Fancy view-scrolling", I'm suggesting custom size icons that are bigger than Large icons (36x36 pixels)

Re: Custom sizes for Icons
When you do this Ctrl+Wheel trick in Explorer it changes from icon to thumbnails views. Now in XYplorer, when you select a thumbnails view, you also get larger icons (up to 128x128). Not good enough?

Re: Custom sizes for Icons
revisiting this old thread.
I wish to ask why we can't add an option for us to use mouse wheel to change views? I am a designer and resizing thumbnails is a necessary part of my workflow. It is a lot more intuitive to use the mouse wheel to adjust the thumbnail sizes than click here and there, and check, then click here and there again and check again.
