Displaying a network drive that has no letter

I'm trying to access a network drive that's not mapped to a letter. Two other file managers can do this, but XY does not display the folders and files. I've tried showing hidden drives, hidden files and folders, system files and folders, and My Network Places. None of these settings allows me to see the folders and files for this network drive. I'm puzzled, and wonder if there's 1 more setting that will allow this.

Any suggestions?

Yes, I did paste the path into the address bar and press Enter. I tried Network List, but could only get it to hang -- and perhaps I don't full understand what info it provides.

For what it's worth, the same address in Windows Explorer shows me the entire path in the folder tree. In XY, it appears that only part of the path is shown, and thus I never get to the folders I'm trying to see. It's as if the lower part of the hierarchy may have a property that XY is not reading or seeing.

Not sure I'm providing useful info. But here's my (slightly altered) path that works in Windows Explorer but not in XY:

\\mycompanyname.local\storage\private\subfoldername\FinalFolderName

This part:

\\mycompanyname.local

The part that follows ("storage") is not shown in my tree in XY. In Windows Explorer, it's shown on the tree, plus its sub-folders.

Technically, "storage" is not a folder -- the icon on the tree in Windows Explorer is for something else. Not sure of the term. Maybe a share?

Yes a share. So what could be so special about this share that XY does not see it???

I'm not sure if your question is rhetorical. But my answer is I don't know. I'm stumped. I wish I had more info to help figure this out.

I get this with our company's SharePoint data store. I can get it to display \\companyweb but it simply shows it empty, not with the 7 or so folders that I get with WE. For the record, TC and UE manages it just fine

I tried that little networklist app and it didn't find the Sharepoint share.

Using 5.50.0019 the autcompleter in the AB WORKS! So I can kinda navigate through the Sharepoint share using that, but when I hit enter to display it in the List view, it just shows up blank as usual. Also, in the tree view it just shows a server(?) icon (screen with blue background) with no [+].

Hm. Any chance that a Sharepoint share is a "hidden share"?

Hmm, I guess so, is there an easy way for me to find out?

It uses the same login information that I use for my domain login, but I do have to put it in again when I update my password.

But still, how come the AB will autocomplete directories and subdirectories that I know are on the share, but the list and tree view won't?

Well, maybe because it is hidden. In the next version, just for fun, I will show all the hidden shares. Maybe you'll spot yours among them...
